500 days of Summer

It's not a love story.
If it has to be put in a category, i would say it is kind of romance comedy which is artfully done.

For one thing, Zooey Deschanel as Summer make her character really 60's and indie.
She has a romantic interest on Tom who is acted by JGL who sucessfully make the character very funny while he goes through his tumultuous relationship with Summer.

I LOVE the charcter of Summer who has a typical 60's girl hairstyle and she love The Smiths and lots of Indie song and her weirly unique apartment and her cheesy dress. That's retro-cute!!

In the movie, they jump around in the timeline of the relationship a lot, but it ends up showing how roller coaster Tom's life is when he is involved with Summer.

I like the background music and the style of the movie which i would say it is indie and classy.
